What Is a Russian Manicure?
A Russian manicure is a dry technique that uses an e-file for detailed cuticle work. At Mars Nails we take the time to refine the cuticle area and to shape your natural nails before applying your selected finish. Russian manicure refers to the preparation technique. You can choose gel color or a natural finish.
We work without soaking, keeping the cuticle area visible while carefully preparing the nail surface.
With gel, color is placed close to the cuticle for an even finish and a neat line as your nails grow.
We shape your existing length. If your natural nails are thin or need extra support, consider our builder gel manicure or hard gel modeling .
E-File Technique and Tool Hygiene
Each appointment includes sterilized metal tools, single-use files, and preparation adjusted to your nails and skin. Read more about e-file technique and tool hygiene .
Your technician adjusts the bit, pressure, and speed to the condition of your cuticle area and natural nails.
Disposable items are used once. Reusable metal tools are sterilized between appointments.

- Yes, with a gel service. Select your design when booking so we can reserve enough time. Availability depends on your technician and the design selected.
