What Is a Russian Manicure?
It is a dry technique that uses an e-file for detailed cuticle preparation. At Mars Nails, we refine the cuticle area and shape your natural nails before applying your chosen finish. Gel color is optional; the technique describes the preparation, not the coating.
We work without soaking, keeping the cuticle area visible while carefully preparing the nail surface.
With gel, color is placed close to the cuticle for an even finish and a neat line as your nails grow.
We shape your existing length. Added support or shape correction may require a separate hard gel modeling.
E-File Technique and Tool Hygiene

Your technician adjusts the bit, pressure, and speed to the condition of your cuticle area and natural nails.
Disposable items are used once. Reusable metal tools are sterilized between appointments.
