Pricing and Appointment Time
Prices start at $110, with pricing and appointment duration varying by nail technician level. Appointments typically take between 1 hour 40 minutes and 2 hours and include e-file prep, shaping, and a builder gel overlay. If you’re adding removal, repairs, or nail design, plan for a little extra time and cost.

Hard gel modeling is used when we need to rebuild a missing corner, correct the shape, restore a small amount of length, or rebalance the nail structure.
Hard Gel Modeling & Sculpting is $160 and takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Questions Before You Book
- How long does a builder gel manicure last?
- 3 to 4 weeks is the normal time between fill appointments. Wear varies with nail growth, daily hand use, and aftercare.
- Is builder gel the same as hard gel nails?
- Yes. At Mars Nails, both names refer to the same service. A regular overlay or fill works with your existing length. Hard Gel Modeling covers the extra work needed to rebuild part of a nail.
- What if my builder gel chips, cracks, or lifts?
- Contact us with a photo whenever you notice an issue. Qualifying gel problems within six days of your appointment are repaired free of charge. After six days, we can still arrange a paid repair. See our Appointment & Cancellation Policy for the full terms.
- Can you remove gel or acrylic from another salon?
- Yes. Removal of another salon’s soft gel, builder gel, hard gel, or acrylic costs an additional $30. Select the removal add-on when booking so enough time is reserved.
